My favorite snack : Tiramisu

Tiramisu is a great snack! I really like it!

Tiramisu has meaning of " pick me up" . It is a popular coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. Origin of tiramisu invented in the 1960s in the region of Veneto, Italy, at the restaurant "Le Beccherie" in Treviso. The Italian ancient recipe "Giovanni Capnist", which chronicles the recipe for a dessert, "I Dolce del Veneto" (Venice Dim Sum), was officially published in 1983. The name "Tiramisu" was used for the first time and has been used by pastry chefs until today.

The original shape of the cake is round. It contains a short list of ingredients: finger biscuits, egg yolks, sugar, coffee, mascarpone cheese and cocoa powder. In the original recipe there is no liquor or egg whites.

The reason I really like this cake is because it tastes. It is very different from other kind of cake. You can actually taste the layers in which its made. First, you get the smooth cool cream and mascarpone cheese and then it slowly melt in your mouth, with a cup of tea, taste awesome!
